PROPHETS WHO ‘FORETOLD’ VIRUS
by Michael H. Brown
There are the “prophets”: what are they saying? Can we trust it?
There are predictions. There are so many signs of the times that already they dwarf 9/11.
Is it really that bad?
Not since an unknown light, the “great sign” in 1938, foreseen at Fatima, have there been greater harbingers than what you now witness around you (not just the virus but quakes, storms, phenomena across the spiritual landscape).
Let me stay on prophets:
In Africa is a fascinating, charismatic, and at the same moment baffling one — ostensibly Christian — whose predictions seem to be — seem to be — unfolding before our eyes. Is he real? Sent by God? From a deceptive source?
We will discern, along with others who have visions. It’s nearly hard to keep up with. In just the past month, one seer at the world’s most renowned and active apparition site suddenly (and with no warning) stopped experiencing apparitions (after thirty-two years of monthly ones) while at the same place another seer, normally very sedate, received a powerful message on Satan, death, destruction of the earth.
I have reported upon that on our front page (as always, when it’s something about which the general audience should know). But: what to make of this? What has occurred behind the scenes with her? What is the prophetic context — and how does the current pandemic fit with secrets and predictions of “warnings” and “chastisements”? Those who have alleged secrets don’t always have the full story. You’ll see why I say that in a moment.
“My children,” the mystic Marie-Julie Jahenny claimed she was told by St. Joseph, “plagues of all sorts are reserved for the earth. Plagues and calamities will come with this time. To indicate mortality, in some places, they will place the pall on the Church! It will be that corruption and lawlessness will issue from these plagues. I warn [about them], since my Son orders it.”
However the Great Contagion of 2020 shakes out — whether it soon diminishes, or turns into something larger than currently forecast — it is the turning point at which a long period of Mercy has transitioned into Justice — that “forerunners” and “pre-warnings” are entering a larger stage. They are transitioning into formal warnings and chastisements.
And that’s what I want to explore, at this prophetic juncture, in history, in this new “special report.”
Oh, there still will be and always is Mercy. Prayers work. But from where I sit, the hands of the clock are touching midnight…
When I mention the “stage” we have entered, the threshold we are crossing, I’m not just alluding to famous “secrets.” I’m speaking of many trends I’ve closely observed since 1990.
That’s when I began my career as a Catholic writer, working on a book with Ukrainian mystic Josyp Terelya — who claimed many prophecies and who, by the way, along with Maria Esperanza, told me major prophesied events would begin somewhere between 2015 and 2020.
That was their “guess.” I don’t remember any specific message with such a date (the Lord and Blessed Mother just about never give narrow time-frames). But their “best guess” seems now to be playing out in “real time.”
No one has the full picture. And that includes major visionaries. I’ll give you an personal example:
As those of you who have read these reports for a while know, I have had a good share of personal supernatural experiences. I don’t know why that is. Perhaps simply to be a chronicler of the time, or because during youth I had a brush with death during severe asthmatic attacks, during which eternity imbued something. Whatever the case, one of many supernatural experiences — what may have been a supernatural experience — occurred on September 9, 2001, while speaking to about 1,500 people at a Marian conference in Sacramento (organized by our dear friend, Lynn Hoffman).
For some reason during that hour-long Sunday afternoon talk two decades ago, I had raised my voice and proclaimed to the audience that when it came to sinfulness, America had crossed a line and that now, “fire” was going to”fall.” I remember repeating it rather loudly (surprising myself, since I don’t usually blurt a prediction). “America: fire is going to fall” (or words to that effect).
Afterward, in the hospitality suite for speakers, Maria Pavlovic-Lunetti, the Medjugorje visionary who receives the official message on the 25th of each month, ribbed me. She is a great person — warm, funny, and friendly. She had been sitting on the stage during my talk and, alluding to my warning of “fire,” said, “Michael, I thought you were going to talk about the three days darkness next!” (She is not one for dramatic prophecies.)
The next day I flew to Salt Lake City, where I was scheduled to give a talk about twelve miles from Salt Lake at Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus Church in Midvale.
There I said the exact same thing, that fire was going to fall. The sponsor of my talk, a wonderful guy named David Trujillo (at the time an employee of American Express, now a priest!), remembers it vividly.
The next morning I was in the lobby at a motel waiting for Father Trujillo to drive me to the airport when on the television across from the front desk, above the lobby couches, I saw live coverage of smoke coming from the North Tower of the World Trade Center. I thought it was a small plane that had accidentally flown into it. Then the second plane hit the South Tower.
Fire fell. So did bodies. Obvious terrorism. A massive event — the biggest in decades up to now. Afterward, when I spoke to Lynn much later, she told me she had seen Maria in Medjugorje and that the seer had come up to her excitedly and said, “Tell Michael Brown he is a prophet!”
I laughed, though Lynn said the seer wasn’t joking. I’m no prophet. It was a journalistic hunch. I didn’t laugh when I had gotten to the airport and flights across America were suspended as I approached the boarding ramp, nor did I chuckle when later I learned I had lost a close friend in the South Tower. I got stranded in Utah for nearly a week before a flight attendant who had been at my talk helped get me home.
Here’s my point: Maria Pavlovic-Lunetti is privy to nine secrets. Yet, this famous seer obviously had no foreknowledge of 9/11. We can also look to the two youngest seers at Fatima — who were told in advance by the Blessed Mother that they would be taken shortly to Heaven (as indeed occurred when they died during the great Spanish Flu Pandemic of 1918-1920), but as far as anyone can tell, the epidemic — which killed twenty to fifty million, a momentous event — was not in the famous three secrets! To repeat: no human has the full picture.
Now we have the greatest epidemic since 1920 and although not nearly the scale of disasters that could befall earth, and that have struck through geologic history (expect more fire, or fear of it, in the future), the incredible power with which this insidious microbe called SARS-coV-2 has caused the world to nearly stop or at least hit “pause” means we’re entering that new stage — moving beyond regional events and into suddenly deeper prophetic waters.
After nearly four decades of signs and “pre-warnings,” events that have served as “forerunners” (massive hurricanes, jarring quakes, a historic tsunami, historic wildfires, and of late brushes with asteroids) are making way for formal warnings and purification — the big stuff.
How big?
Here we come to that African “prophet.”
As usual, I have to hedge. I don’t have the Eyes of God. I can’t tell you how he gets what he does — where it comes from. Caution is always in order.
His name is Emmanuel Makandiwa, known simply as “Prophet Makandiwa,” founder of a large Pentecostal mega-church called United Family International Church in Zimbabwe. Like so many Pentecostals, there have been controversies, usually around money. He is said to be “worth” $140 million, has his own jet, and was once sued (unsuccessfully) by a couple claiming they had fallen prey to a prophecy by Makandiwa promising them a “debt cancellation miracle” (instead, their business nose-dived).
Many believe he correctly predicted the death of an opposition leader in Mozambique. He also seems to have foreseen a major explosion in China. During a church service on March 16, 2016, he told congregants to pray for South African president Cyril Ramaphosa, whose life was in danger, he said, due to a technical issue in a plane he was about to fly.
Three days later on March 21, Ramaphosa had cancelled a trip to the Eastern Cape after a South African air force plane developed a technical fault.
There have been other correct predictions. Where they come from, I can’t say. You know how the dark side can be accurate also.
But this is a charismatic person, to say the least — one centered on Jesus and God — who apparently has been experiencing the supernatural since his youth (born Christmas Day in 1977) on a farm in this poor nation. His parents opened a church and hosted crusades. It’s said one afternoon, as he was sleeping under a shade at their farm, Emmanuel was caught up in a supernatural vision and the shade that he was sleeping under caught fire but mysteriously its flames did not consume the shade, which had wooden planks.
Other people who were present when it happened said they ran with buckets of water to try and quench the fire but they were amazed to see Emmanuel sleeping in the shade without even a single scratch or burn. He said the Lord has spoken to him during the event, telling him of the ministry he would have. His supernatural experiences increased from then on.
I cite all this background because of what certainly seem to be his extraordinary prophecies of the coronavirus. I transcribed them for this report. Let’s get down to that.
On November 20, 2016, Makandiwa told tens of thousands at the City Sports Centre in Harare the following:
“I saw diseases that are coming, many diseases — know that we are praying about it — and another disease more deadly, and I saw it coming from the sea. If they investigate, they will find that it comes from the ocean, more deadly than HIV and cancer.
“Very fast, very aggressive.
“How does it come from the sea? Is it a creature in the ocean, I don’t know. Is it from food from the sea? It will originate from under the waters, from the ocean. And thousands and millions, perhaps billions, will die.
“This is something we can pray against, because it isn’t good news.
“Imagine sitting and watching TV and seeing millions and millions die — thousands in one city in one day. It’s a plague. It’s serious. It’s something that you will see like it flies in the air.”
“We need people to pray, because we can prevent it, we can slow it down. But we can’t cure it. Makandiwa was stating all this, he said, because the Holy Spirit told him to, and so “we can pray against it.”
It was two months and eighteen days later that Makandiwa returned to repeat his warning, adding gripping, and in retrospect perhaps amazing, details.
On September 13, 2018, the alleged Irish seers Christina Gallagher received this message:
“I want you to make known to the world the grave danger, especially for New York. California – its people will receive much through their rejection of Me, their Lord. How so many merry and unite in the powers of evil in the dark art of the deceiver. Many little ones aborted cry out to their Father through My Life that this awful craft of death come to an end but humanity unites more strongly with death rather than acknowledge Life of Me their Savior. I will permit a disease to fall upon those that are predators of the innocents and depraved in the nature of their being. They bring to My Sacred Heart great sorrow and bring about much destruction of their souls and country.”
The virus he was speaking about, he again told thousands, was “coming closer and closer, a disease from the sea that will kill more people than any disease we have fought before — very fast.
“I saw people falling like leaves and dying. They will do everything to investigate where’s it coming from, and they will not find out, but eventually they will confirm what I’m telling you.
“Something will bring that disease from the ocean to the land of the living.
“It’s a plague that only God can stop.
“They will do everything, but God will give power to His people in the midst of global upheaval.”
Most astonishingly (remember, this is several years ago), Makandiwa told his huge audience (he always packs them in, up to 200,000):
“We need to pray. China. China. China.”
That was on January 11, 2015.
“My question is, who is safe now?” he said to the rapt audience. “It is going to continue happening, over and over and over again. And it will not be the last of its kind.”
Hover on that: “it will not be the last of its kind.”
“Whatever you see happening far away is not going to end there. It is really catastrophe, it is chaotic. It is a demonic spirit that is going on a rampage.”
A demonic spirit.
Many have noted the strange features of this illness. It attacks different people in different — often radically different — ways. It seems to know the weakness to target. Even U.S. senator Charles Schumer and Chinese leader Xi Jinping described the virus publicly as “a demon” — perhaps in metaphor, perhaps betraying true beliefs. President Trump himself has called it a “curse.” During the Middle Ages, bizarre phenomena accompanied bouts with the plague — which, as Makandiwa now foresees, happening again. Wave after wave.
And so we see much of this now unfolding around us. Has there been enough prayer to blunt it? Perhaps there will be. There are thousands dead, not the “millions” (thus far) he warned about (though millions are probably infected, and though future waves of it could up the toll; it took the Black Death eleven years to exact its initial body count. Prayer can protect you).
Makandiwa said the virus would be “very aggressive,” and is certainly has been that — tearing through the world in a matter of weeks. “Very fast, very aggressive,” he intoned. He said it would “like fly,” and in fact they have found that SARS-coV-2 can aerosilize — take to the air and infect those in close enough proximity. He said there would be “chaos,” and there is something approaching that right now, as institutions we long have depended upon are straining under the pressure, as stock markets swerve crazily, as unemployment figures surpass those of the Great Depression. He stated that it would first be “faraway” but as he correctly said, soon everywhere. The “prophet” also correctly “saw” people falling like leaves and so they have in China (collapsing on streets) and New York (just this week, one victim simply falling over on a subway). Makandiwa added cryptically, “We need to pray because this time there is a place somewhere where these guys are working on the nuclear.”
The implication: a research lab was involved in some kind of future event. Nuclear? Viral? Hold that thought for a moment.
Interesting to me was the mention of the ocean. While the current theory is that the virus originated in bats, those animals, as you know by now, are sold as exotic meat in what are called “wet markets” in China — alongside seafood and meat they could easily contaminate. In fact it is such a place, the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan, that has been implicated as the possible origin for the pathogen’s spread to humans.
Meanwhile, just miles from the market is a laboratory where coronaviruses — in bats — have been isolated for study.
Did it escape from one? (Scientists say this is not something bio-engineered, and I’ll take them at their word.) Was a laboratory was Makandiwa was trying to indicate when he said “the nuclear” (or was he alluding to an explosion that would occur shortly after in China as a munitions plant)?
As the Washington Examiner reported this week, “Chinese government researchers isolated more than 2,000 new viruses, including deadly bat coronaviruses, and carried out scientific work on them just three miles from a wild animal market identified as the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic. Several Chinese state media outlets in recent months touted the virus research and lionized in particular a key researcher in Wuhan, Tian Junhua, as a leader in bat virus work. The coronavirus strain now infecting hundreds of thousands of people globally mutated from bats believed to have infected animals and people at a wild animal market in Wuhan. The exact origin of the virus, however, remains a mystery…”
Time will tell if that’s the actual origin. It certainly seems like a plausible candidate. “I visited the Tai Po wet market in Hong Kong, and it’s quite obvious why the term ‘wet’ is used,” a National Public Radio reporter said earlier this year. “Live fish in open tubs splash water all over the floor. The countertops of the stalls are red with blood as fish are gutted and filleted right in front of the customers’ eyes. Live turtles and crustaceans climb over each other in boxes. Melting ice adds to the slush on the floor. There’s lots of water, blood, fish scales and chicken guts.”
China. China. China, said Makandiwa. It is curious that in China this year is the Year of the Rat.
It was fleas on rodents, infesting caravans from Asia, that are thought to have caused the Black Death in the Middle Ages. That pandemic killed one quarter to one third of those in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East (25 to 33 percent), where the rate of fatality for coronavirus appears — thus far, based on very nebulous statistics — to be one percent or less of those infected.
You can thus see what I mean when I said it does not yet stack up to historic disasters. Thank God: a death rate of one quarter or a third would be 85 to 113 million in the U.S. alone — the millions (and if worldwide, billions) warned about by Makankiwa and about five hundred times that is the death rate projected (up to 240,000) for the U.S. (Pray those projections hold or lessen.)
The curiosities — the prophetic ones — are arriving by the bushel.
One Orthodox woman known for her Christian writing, Frederica Mathewes-Green, direly blogs (in my opinion, too direly) that “last spring I had a dream that, even while I was having it, I knew it was important to remember it. Even as the dream was ending, I was already counting up the points I needed to recall. In my dream, we all knew we were going to die. Everyone in the world was going to die. A cloud of air bearing very fine, sharp particles was slowly encircling the earth; when people inhaled, it infiltrated the lungs, piercing the cells and destroying them. There was no way to stop the advance of this fog, and its effects were incurable. Wherever this fog had gone, it had killed the entire population. This cloud was gradually encircling the entire world, and eventually it would reach America. Everyone in our local community knew this was coming. But somehow my husband and I knew that it was coming much faster than others expected. In fact, it was now very near.”
Please, don’t get caught up in anything that is too foreboding. God is with us! I certainly don’t feel we’re all doomed — whatsoever. The world is not about to end. Our era is about to end. Our technology will soon be dismantled. We or our offspring will be more like peasants. And praise God for that!
But as in all seemingly prophetic utterances, there may be nuggets worth taking. In this case, Frederica also had seen “a naturally-occurring oil that could alleviate the pain, though it couldn’t prevent death—maybe delay it a little. A neighbor was happily telling me he had discovered a source for this oil on his property. He showed me in the palm of his hand the clear, slippery liquid. He explained that he was going to bottle it and ship it all over the world, charging high prices and making a lot of money, all for free, because he found it right there in his backyard. I pitied him, because it seemed obvious to me that, once when word got out that it had been found here, people would descend from all directions and just take it for themselves. I said to my friend, ‘But don’t you think they will all just move here?’”
A friend of hers says, “Last week, when Matt Colvin, who lives near Chattanooga, was in The New York Times for having bought 17,000 bottles of hand sanitizer, which he hoped to sell at a big profit, I e-mailed the story to Frederica and pointed out that this guy lives just down the road from her, in eastern Tennessee, and had cleaned out all the rural stores of their hand sanitizer, which he intended to sell.”
He also pointed out to her that the “very fine, sharp particles” piercing the lungs might be related to how scientists were using the term “ground glass opacity” to describe conditions in the lungs of badly hit COVID-19 victims.
In that dream was a traditional church service but with few attending. “My husband had been invited to participate, and as [the preacher] delivered the prayers he’d written I noticed that they had a common theme: he was warning the people there that the time might be much shorter than they anticipated. It was essential to prepare now. But he was saying this in a subtle way, to prevent shock and panic,” she writes.
Many are currently circulating prophecies about a “warning” and other events from a priest, Father Michel Rodrigue, of a new order he founded, the Apostolic Fraternity of Saint Benedict, in Canada. Like Makandiwa, the priest was born in humble surroundings near the city of Rimouski in the province of Quebec, the 23rd child of a family of twenty-three children. As one bio relates, “He grew up on the family farm and felt a calling to the priesthood as early as the age of three. After that call, our Lord Jesus and our Blessed Mother would sometimes personally assist and guide Father Michel during key moments of his life through inner locutions.” His most famous prediction is of a coming “illumination of conscience.” I wrote about that here.
On January 3, 2020, the priest received an alleged message from the Archangel Michael that said, “A great darkness advances on the world, and soon the eyes of the children of God will see how the earth is defiled by sin. Souls are raining into hell. God will visit His people… The perversion and blasphemies of men against God and against life, in all its forms, have multiplied to such an extent that purification is now necessary.”
I believe that it is when the majority of people are headed for hell in a region that God sends forth disasters.
That’s Mercy.
This is a mystic — Father Rodrigue — who obviously is still in discernment. As reported by my friends Christine Watkins and Mark Mallett, the priest has said, “The time to come is not the end of the world. Please put that in your head. What is approaching is the end of a troubled time, which we are now entering. [Fr. Michel calls this period before the Warning, the minor tribulation, and the time after the Warning, The Tribulation.] It will end, as the Virgin Mary promised us in Fatima, with her glorious Triumph, and peace will flourish throughout the earth.
“The times are urgent. The Tribulation will come, and it will be soon. We are in a time of emergency. When the Father gave me the fraternity, He asked me to build it quickly because it will be a refuge for many priests who will come there. Much of what you will witness will be orchestrated by the devil. You will see people fighting against each other for a political reason. The persecution of Christians, which has already begun, person to person through ridicule and accusation, will come from laws that are lawlessness. You will not be able to follow these laws in good conscience, so persecution will then fall under civil authority.
“The Antichrist is in the hierarchy of the church right now, and he has always wanted to sit in the Chair of Peter. Pope Francis will be like Peter, the apostle. He will realize his errors and try to gather the Church back under the authority of Christ, but he will not be able to do so. He will be martyred. Pope emeritus, Benedict XVI, who still wears his papal ring, will step in to convene a council, attempting to save the Church. I saw him, weak and frail, held up on either side by two Swiss guards, fleeing Rome with devastation all around. He went into hiding, but then was found. I saw his martyrdom.”
That is certainly going out on a limb. But claims yet another blogger:
- In 2019, Fr. Michel Rodrigue announced that he was told that, come February 2020, he was not to travel outside the country any longer. The scoffers scoffed. This admonition could not have been more prophetic.
- In 2019, Fr. Michel begged Catholics to make sure they got to Confession before 2020. The scoffers scoffed. Now they can’t get to confession at all.
- In 2019, Fr. Michel said to have several months of food and supplies on hand. The scoffers scoffed. Now they must wish they listened.
Prepare but do not despair. God can form a bubble of protection around you (and your family, and your community, if there is fasting and prayer).
You have seen what I have written or heard me speak of the great Wisconsin wildfire of 1871?
It had been foreseen by a Church-approved seer, Adele Brise, who then built a shrine dedicated to the apparition she witnessed twelve years before. It went untouched by a conflagration that incinerated 1.2 million acres surrounding it — the flames scorching but never crossing the shrine’s wood fence!
Protection.
I find it very interesting that at a recent event at Fatima, twenty-four countries sent representatives last month for a special consecration. Look at the list (Albania, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, East Timor, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Kenya, Mexico, Moldova, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe) and note that thus far, they have been less affected by coronavirus (underscore: so far) than those that did not participate (including the U.S., Italy, and of course China). Note especially how relatively well Portugal — home to Fatima — has thus far fared, despite its proximity to ravaged Spain.
Adds the priest, who says he was told recently not to travel (for what turned out to be good reason): “There will be famine. Jesus presented this to me just recently. I was in my room, and when I sat down, preparing to go to bed, I saw a black cavalier coming. This means famine. I heard, ‘They will have money, but they will have no bread,’ which means that you can have money to buy it, but you will find nothing.
“Then all money will crash, so it is good to give your money away now, as it will disappear. There will be a great uprising. You will see revolution in your streets. People will fight each other openly. The government will have no other choice than to institute martial law. At the same time that martial law begins, so will the war. Then the Warning will come. I saw this.”
As I said: a cacophony.
As far as the occult, in the summer of 2008, an elderly psychic who claimed she started receiving premonitions at age five published a book that contained an ominous prediction. “In around 2020, a severe pneumonia-like illness will spread throughout the globe, attacking the lungs and the bronchial tubes and resisting all known treatments. Almost more baffling than the illness itself will be the fact that it will suddenly vanish as quickly as it arrived, attack again ten years later, and then disappear completely.” The prediction faded from public memory and the book’s author, Sylvia Browne, died in 2013.
As I said: occult.
Once in a while, when writing on prophecy, I check in with the latest from that fellow in Brazil named Pedro Regis. His latest?
“Dear children, ye live in a time of great spiritual confusion,” he said (ostensibly quoting Mary). “Bend ye your knees in prayer. Ye will still see horrors on earth. I am your Sorrowful Mother and I want to tell you that God is in a hurry. Do not live ye far from the path of conversion. Dense darkness covers all the earth. Seek ye the Light of the Lord. Let ye yourselves be enlightened by the Holy Spirit and you will be victorious. In these difficult times, be ye attentive. The devil will act against men and women of faith. Ye walk into a future of great confusion and many will lose faith. Courage. Do not feel ye alone. My Son Jesus is with you. Give ye the best of yourself and ye will contribute to the Final Triumph of My Immaculate Heart. Do not forget ye: In everything, God first. This is the message that I transmit to you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for permitting me to reunite you here once more. I bless you, in the name of the Father, of the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Stay ye in peace.”
Indeed, keep your peace. In Christ, we will be fine. But it is a very serious “moment” (to use Maria Esperanza’s word for it). She said the world would face a serious moment. We also face major change. If the chaos and breakdowns in governments and societies that seems to be germinating blossoms fully, it will set the stage for Big Brother. Already governments are using phone apps to track virus carriers and drones to monitor human temperature. In democracies, will elections be postponed — and shoved to the side? Will there be forced quarantines — in the way of camps?
We’re not near there quite yet. But things are moving very rapidly. The message at Medjugorje I mentioned, given last week to Marija, said, “Dear children! I am with you all these years to lead you to the way of salvation. Return to my Son; return to prayer and fasting. Little children, permit God to speak to your heart, because Satan is reigning and wants to destroy your lives and the earth on which you walk. Be courageous and decide for holiness. You will see conversion in your hearts and families; prayer will be heard; God will hear your cries and give you peace. I am with you and am blessing you all with my motherly blessing.”
We thank our dear mother who places her mantle over us!
As for Makandiwa, on March 1, 2020, he prophesied that “God wants to confound some people. I say the most intelligent people will break down. Doctors will cry. Leaders of nations will cry. What is this thing? Prayer wouldn’t completely stop it but would help and it would come back again but be resolved. If we pray we may find a particular medicine… that will cure. God can put His healing power into anything, even rice. It’s not about finding the right cure, it’s about allowing God to intervene, then the diseases will begin dying down — not because of cure — they never will — but because God will put His power in something that is already available. He wants to prove to us that we are not so educated. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. He will deliver you from this plague and when you become proud again, He will give you another, until you know that God reigns over the kingdoms of men.”
The question many have: might Makandiwa have been alluding to something like chloroquine, an anti-malarial that may end up quelling the outbreak?
A seer in Spain named Isabel: (March 23): “In the houses where the Rosary is usually prayed every day in unity by
all those that are in the house, the Calamity will not enter because My Most Holy Mother will pray for all those who live there and will spread her mantle of love and mercy, and will cover them with her love and her intercession to the Holy Heart of her Son Jesus for all of them. Listen to me, children, this is not the time to hesitate, nor to doubt the Words of your Savior. Amen, amen..”
We pray. We remember that the “1990 prophecy” had predicted a cloud for twelve years over New York until its “pride” was “broken” (which occurred, just short of twelve years later, when the pride of New York, the Twin Towers, crumbled into nothingness — fell with that fire). The question is whether that city — and our nation — have regained that pride.
Perhaps, we have even surpassed the level in 2001.
The secrets?
I think it may well be that the initial one (the seers have been given three warnings) may not be of quite of the magnitude many expect, that it may not be as momentous as, say, the coronavirus. One or two of them may be regional events whose main significance is that they are announced in advance, and serve as further omens of major trends and events to come.
The latter chastisements hinted at by Medjugorje seers are another story — these seem global and earth-changing.
There is also “The Warning” at the alleged site of Garabandal.
Last week also, we reported a rare quote from the most well-known visionary from there, Conchita Gonzales, now residing in the New York City area, who when asked if she would be kind enough to offer some words of advice to all of us in this troubling times said, “God is detaching us from the securities of this world. In the silence of the Church or in our house, we are now able to make an examination of conscience so we can clean what prevents us from hearing the Voice of God clearly. With sincerity we can ask God to tell us what He wants of us today, and continue to do that every day. And spend as much time as possible with God at church or somewhere in your home or where you find the silence. He is all we need.’”
